Current Status: December 2016

Not only is this the end of the year, this is pretty much the end of my first year of developing IEI. I remember really getting started on it around this time last year. At the time, I figured I’d be a lot farther along by now, but I don’t think I really understood how much work I was getting into. Here’s what I spent my time on this month:

• Created crude passage of time simulation.
• PC now has energy that depletes during the day and is restored with sleeping.
• Created rudimentary perfume menu.
• Wrote miscellaneous work scenes for most major work areas.
• Started plugging new scenes into the engine and testing them.
• Lots of bug fixes on the basic work day.
• Did some preliminary work on the shower and mirror “manager” scripts.
• Worked on creating character models for additional coworkers and guests.
• Ported over a few more character models to HS.
