
I’ve been doing some work over the last couple weeks with character graphics. Partially, I’m looking into ways to make the graphics look better, but it’s also been an attempt at finding the simplest way to handle graphics for the PC’s body changes.
After a couple of false starts, I’ve managed to get a ton of mods and utilities installed, and it’s finally NOT blowing up in my face. (And I just want to give a shout out to the people over at Hongfire who produce all the great stuff that makes this possible!)
While I still don’t have all of the hair styles I’d like to have, I do now have much better textures, and tools for more complicated lighting.
It’s still a lot of work to port over characters, but it’s fun to see how they look compared to the old ones once I’m done.
The sample above is a before and after with what I’ve currently got for Aubrey (who you might remember from the bonfire raffle).
