Current Status: November 2017

Since the graphical side of the TF stuff has been taking a lot of time,
and I’m sure everyone is anxious for more story content, I’ve switched
my focus toward making some more progress on the text side. So even if
you won’t be able to see the changes on your character, some of the story aspects will hopefully be seeded into the game soon.

I’ve also had a bit of inspiration as far as the sex mechanics of the game goes, and I’ve got a good chunk of pseudo-code for my first attempt written and ready to be put into the game for testing. Turning ideas into numbers isn’t exactly my strong suit, so I’m happy to have made the kind of progress that I did. (Coming up with the ideas is fun, but I literally get headaches when it comes time to think about how to implement them.)

My goal is to at least get some basic mechanics in for masturbation activities so that I can start adding that to the game. There are already plenty of places in the game already that are supposed to have it, so getting it in there should have a pretty noticeable impact.

Aside from that, I mentioned before that I needed to flesh out the variables for NPCs—what they do and don’t know, and the like. I’ve worked on that a bit, and in the process, realized that I should also be tracking how the PC feels about these characters.

One thing that will hopefully come out of this crude relationship tracking is the ability to initiate “hang out” evening activities with characters the PC is friendly with. I may want to fast-track some of these to help fill out some of those otherwise empty nights and allow for player-initiated opportunities to build relationships outside of work events.

As always, there’s much to do, but I’m getting excited to see a lot of these long-planned features starting to come together. Can’t wait until it’s all finally in the game!
